Ascaya had the privilege of hosting InSight 2020 for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC). This private event is held annually for Sponsors & Board Members of Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) to give a thorough analysis and prediction of the economy from an international, national, and local perspective.
The event showcased multiple speakers including Henderson Chamber of Commerce President Scott Mulreath, Executive Director of Henderson Kelly Greene, Mike PeQueen of HighTower Las Vegas, and John Restrepo of RCG Economics.
Greene spoke about Henderson’s new initiative Community Care, where they choose a charity quarterly to support. They partner with them to help in volunteer efforts and fundraising opportunities. She introduced there current charity of choice, Serving Our Kids Foundation. Their tag line is “Inspire others to make a difference! We Fill the Gap,” because they provide weekend meals to kids in Southern Nevada who would otherwise go hungry.
Key note speaker, PeQueen, discussed selling experiences in today’s economy vs. traditional sales. He also listed many of the high selling points of the Valley, such as Major Sports Teams such as (NFL Raiders, Las Vegas Aviators, NHL Vegas Golden Knights). Restrepo, who co-published the Stat Pack, a business and economic news website, finished out the evening presenting the current economics of Henderson and pointed out room for growth.
An evening to remember the event featured a live band as well as cocktail hour, gourmet appetizers, and light bites from Masterpiece Cuisine.
