Tell us about your professional background and how you became the Lifestyle Director at Ascaya.
My career journey has been a heartfelt exploration of community building and creating connections that matter. Over the last decade, I’ve worked in various roles within the Community Management industry.
While community management has been at the core, I discovered a new passion for overseeing corporate wellness programs and events. There’s something truly fulfilling about dreaming up ways to boost employee well-being and orchestrating memorable events that bring everyone together.
When the Lifestyle Director role at Ascaya presented itself, it felt like the stars aligned. It was a chance to merge my passion for community building, wellness, and event management into one incredible role. Ascaya is an extraordinary community I’m truly excited to be a part of!
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing Owners connect and make friends at our community events warms my heart, especially when someone new finds their place. Watching those bonds grow and knowing I’ve helped make Ascaya a friendly, welcoming home for all makes my work incredibly fulfilling.

Tell us about your favorite amenity at Ascaya.
Choosing a favorite is tough, but the dressing rooms in the Clubhouse stand out for me. Those fluffy, freshly laundered towels, soothing lighting, and spa-like amenities create the most relaxing experience. It’s like stepping into a peaceful hideaway where you can let go and rebalance.
Your position includes collaborating with Ascaya’s Food & Beverage team – what are some of your favorite menu items?
If I’m feeling indulgent, I opt for the fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream from the breakfast menu or the crispy chicken wings from the lunch menu. For light and refreshing, I go with a berry parfait for breakfast or the strawberry field salad for lunch—the house-made balsamic dressing pairs perfectly with the feta cheese, strawberries, and sunflower seeds.
What makes Ascaya special and unique to you?
What sets Ascaya apart is how it beautifully bridges two different worlds. The fact that I can enjoy both breathtaking Strip views and the serene desert landscape in one community is something I find incredibly special.
Tell us about your favorite way the Ascaya community comes together:
My favorite way the Ascaya community comes together is during our lively summer pool parties. It’s an absolute blast seeing Owners and residents of all ages come together to enjoy the sun, splash around, dance to great music, and enjoy some poolside BBQ.
What’s your favorite time of day at Ascaya and why?
I love sunsets at Ascaya. The sky transforms into this stunning painting of oranges, pinks, and gold as the sun dips behind the mountains. It’s a moment that encourages you to pause, catch your breath, and appreciate the beauty around you.
Can you tell us about any upcoming community events you’re most excited about? What programming can residents look forward to this fall?
I’m so excited for the fall season! I plan to host concerts at The Family Park as the weather cools. Our annual Halloween party and Costume Contest will also be a blast! But I’m most eagerly anticipating our Masquerade Murder Mystery Dinner on October 6th. Owners are invited to dress in eveningwear and masks and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while working together to unravel the mystery.
