When it comes to exceptionally designed living spaces, one name in particular continues to stand out: Daniel Joseph Chenin, principal architect of Las Vegas’ renowned architecture and design firm, Daniel Joseph Chenin, Ltd. The Ascaya resident, who is currently designing his own family home behind our gates, has stacked up countless accolades throughout the years and has just been awarded the 2022 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Silver Medal for the State of Nevada.
The Silver Medal is the highest honor the AIA Nevada bestows upon an architect, accounting for the recipient’s depth and breadth of work, cumulative effect on the profession of architecture in their state, renown among architects, designers, and educators for their quality of work, and so much more.
“Daniel is without question deserving of the Silver Medal award,” noted the AIA jury, a group of reputable architects from across the nation. “From his time teaching (at UNLV) and well into his practice, he has had a lasting impression and influence on the profession, as evident by his accomplishments in the profession and academia.”
We’re thrilled Daniel has chosen to build his personal home in Ascaya, and we are honored to have his architectural expertise here amidst our award-winning community. For a behind-the-scenes look at Daniel’s design process at Ascaya, we invite you to press play here.
