Q & A With Sun West Custom Homes Your Ascaya Consultant

How Long Does it Take to Build an Ascaya Custom Home?

From start to finish creating your ultimate dream home takes approximately 18 months.

The process begins with obtaining a building permit that takes up to 3 months.  Post permit phase a new construction home buyer can plan to kickstart the construction process with an estimated finish date of 18 months.

“If you put the whole process together. We tell our clients from the moment that they meet us until they move into their new home it takes about 18 months,” explained Coletti.

How Do you Extract from Clients What they Really Want?

“By providing a full-spectrum of services consisting of architectural design, construction, interior design, and home maintenance, it is our hope to orchestrate that single moment in time when a confluence of people, events, talents, and dreams can culminate into the home of their dreams for our clients,”   Coletti on Best of Houzz.

This “Design Build Firm” approach allows custom home buyers to unfold their exclusive home design at ease.

When Should a Buyer Meet With Their Builder?

“When we meet people, we prefer to meet them right when they are just starting to look for a lot.” ~Coletti

The physical features are important visually and conceptually. Ascaya homesites inhibit both epic views of the Las Vegas city lights as well as the gorgeous scenery of the McCullough Mountain Range.

The physical features are important visually and conceptually. Ascaya homesites inhibit both epic views of the Las Vegas city lights as well as the gorgeous scenery of the McCullough Mountain Range.

But that is not the only importance in choosing the perfect Ascaya custom homesite. From single story to vast 1 acre lots and tucked away private cul-de-sacs.  Every exclusive homesite is unique in its own. Cultivating aesthetic design agents that craft well with particular architectural design.

How Does The Design Process Unfold?

“We often ask our clients for a wish list and a wish list.” ~Coletti

From writing down the number of bedrooms, garage space to creating a vision board is like writing your own story, manifesting your future, desired lifestyle and ultimate dream home!

“As far as architectural style and flavor of the outside of the home, pictures help capsulate the design theme to be manifested.”~Coletti

Ultimately, building a new construction home allows the buyer to choose exactly what they want.  “That’s the real beauty of designing a new home. It’s really anything that they want to do, we can do,” explained Coletti.

What is the Cost of New Construction vs Resale?

With low construction rates building a custom home is in align with the current resale market. On average a custom home buyer can anticipate an estimated cost ranging from $375 per square foot to $425 per square foot which includes interior and exterior of home.

What If I’m A Buyer Who Lives Out of State?

If you are moving from out-of-state then you’re far from alone!  According to Coletti, “7 out of 10 of our customers per year don’t live here.”

With the numerous amount of clients moving from another state Sun West Custom Homes and Ascaya have tailored their system for new Valley comers.

“The first week entails the conceptual work which is helpful for the buyer to be present but beyond that the communication can continue rapidly through online communication.” ~Coletti
