Nevada ‘Case Study’ House With Vegas Strip Views Reimagines Desert Living

MANSION GLOBAL

A residence in a luxury Nevada development that’s set over the Las Vegas skyline like a jewel box has just been listed for $11.6 million.

The newly built custom home in the gated Ascaya community in Henderson is part of a collection of so-called case study houses by the community’s eponymous developer and select architects that exemplify modern desert living. It was designed by Las Vegas-based Studio G Architecture.

“Every year, Ascaya builds one or two of these Desert Design Study Homes to test architectural ideas,” said Kylie Lum of Redeavor Sales, who listed the property late last month. “The moment you see this house, it feels different. It looks like it is sculpted out of the canyon. It really pushes boundaries on design by blending the art of the desert and the architecture.”
