The F1 Grand Prix will Roar through the Strip in November
From November 16-18, 2023, the Formula 1 Grand Prix will grace Las Vegas with the greatest racing spectacle on the planet. The 3.8-mile, 14-turn track will cut through the Strip, navigating past iconic landmarks, hotels, and casinos, with drivers pushing their limits to up to 212 mph. From Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing, to Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes-AMG Petronas, and Carlos Sainz from Scuderia Ferrari, this lineup will have you at the edge of your seat.

MSG Sphere will Open The Venetian this September
Thought there couldn’t possibly be more entertainment in Las Vegas? Think again. After five years of construction, the $2.2 billion MSG Sphere entertainment venue is set open its doors this coming September. On the agenda: a U2 concert series, an immersive film experience by Darren Aronofsky, and a collaboration with the F1 race, which will pass through the Sphere’s 17-acre site, with hundreds of fans watching from a temporary outdoor grandstands. Clearly, this fall is going to be one for the books.

The Bend is Bringing Pickleball to Las Vegas
America’s fastest-growing sport is officially coming to Las Vegas. The Bend, Southwest Valley’s upcoming retail giant, recently signed a deal to open a state-of-the-art pickleball complex called Electric Pickle. The three-acre, 10,000-square-foot space will feature nine pickleball courts, a two-story restaurant, three bars, cornhole and bocce ball courts, and a lawn for group gatherings. As if that’s not enough, The Bend, which recently elected its first buildings, plans on gracing us with a host of shopping, entertainment, and dining options, including St. Felix, Sola Salon, The Great Greek, and Mothership Coffee. Only 20 minutes away from Ascaya, you will be seeing us there quite often.
Oakland A’s Purchase Las Vegas Land for a New Stadium
Is Sin City becoming the new Sports City? It sure seems like it. The Oakland Athletics baseball team recently announced that it had signed a binding agreement to purchase 49 acres of land near the Las Vegas Strip, with the intention of building a new retractable roof ballpark with seating for 30,000 people. With completion planned in time for the 2027 season, it is one of the many reasons the city’s sports culture is set to soar to new heights.
