ABOUT AREAA
15 years ago, in a restaurant in Houston, Texas, AREAA was born.
The first few years were a bit rough as we sought to build a membership base and raise awareness about the issues affecting AAPI homeownership.
Today, AREAA has over 17,000 members in 39 chapters across North America, making us one of the largest AAPI organizations in the Western Hemisphere.
To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we have decided to come back to the city that formed our very first AREAA chapter, Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is known for its glitz and glam, but the city is a microcosm of what is happening in the AAPI community. Like the city they call home, the AAPI community in Las Vegas is dynamic, growing, and full of amazing potential for housing professionals.
The 2018 National Convention, at the stunning Aria Resort and Casino, will offer attendees an opportunity to innovate the way they do business with cutting edge breakout sessions, elevate their brand through our renowned networking events, and celebrate the achievements of AREAA and our members over the last 15 years.
EVENT DETAILS
The 2018 AREAA Leadership Summit brings together AREAA’s influencers, chapter leaders, AREAA’s crème de la crème and representatives from organizations that are interested in growing and empowering a strong AAPI community through housing and real estate.
This year, our focus is to curate inspirational leadership, intentional skill development and experiences that help our leaders succeed.
At the heart of this year’s summit is an open “unconference-style” event in which everyone who attends is welcome to lead and contribute sessions on any given topic. These sessions are very much discussion sessions: the participants can interact directly, offer thoughts and experience, and share ideas and questions. These “unconference” sessions are also augmented with a series of presentations from leaders in the field, mastermind sessions and networking opportunities.
Design and Architectural Trends for 2018
Learn about the hottest trends that are reshaping the way we look at real estate from some of the top names in design and architecture. This session will cover all things design and architecture so you can be the expert in your local market. Craig Hogan, John Parsiani, Navin Pathangay and Darin Marques were guest speakers during the 2018 AREAA National Convention’s Design and Architectural Trends for 2018 breakout session.
